Sustainability
At Solasta Swim, sustainability is not a trend, it is the foundation of how we create.
Every decision, from the fabrics that touch your skin to the way your order arrives, is made with intention. We are not interested in fast fashion or excess. Instead, we focus on creating pieces that feel considered, last beyond a single season, and exist in harmony with the world around them.
Our swimwear is crafted from regenerated fibres including ECONYL® and REPREVE®, created from discarded fishing nets, ocean plastics, and post consumer waste. These materials are transformed into premium fabrics that feel soft against the skin, move effortlessly with the body, and offer the same durability and performance as traditional swimwear textiles.
Each Solasta Swim piece is produced in small batches, allowing us to reduce waste and avoid overproduction. Our collections are crafted in a Bali atelier where skilled makers work in safe conditions and are paid fairly for their craft. We believe the people behind each piece matter just as much as the piece itself, and that true luxury includes respect for both the maker and the wearer.
Every order contributes to something beyond the product itself. Through our partnership with CleanHub, each purchase supports the removal of ocean bound plastic before it reaches the sea. This plastic is collected from coastal communities and responsibly processed, helping to protect marine ecosystems at the source.
Our commitment extends beyond the swimwear itself. We use compostable mailers, recycled paper, and minimal packaging designed to protect your pieces while reducing unnecessary waste.
We do not claim to be perfect. But we are intentional. And we believe the future of fashion is slower, more thoughtful, and deeply aware of its impact.
